When taking REG (or any other section), do you have access to a spreadsheet?

Or a calculator? Lately I’ve been using Excel for all of my calculations at work, and I notice I’m starting to prefer it to using a calculator while studying. When testing, are you given access to an Excel-like spreadsheet, a physical calculator, or just the dry erase board?

No physical calculator. You're given a basic calculator on the computer that you'd use a mouse to click. I THINK you're given access to an ‘excel-like' spreadsheet, but I never use it, so I can't positively tell you. I know both of these are offered during homework/sims on Becker (and I assume other study materials) so you can get used to them.

    R - *77*(02/'13)-Becker & NINJA
    A - 71('11); *87*(04/'13)-Becker & NINJA
    F - *76*(08/'13)-Becker & NINJA - "server upgrade" survivor
    B - 60('11); *82*(10/'13) -Becker & NINA

    DONE, DONE, AND DONE.

    Yes – calculator for MC

    No – spreadsheet for MC

    Yes – both for SIMs

Correct me if I'm wrong anyone.

You're correct! I don't like the spreadsheet function in Becker or on the test, it just does not do what I want or fast so if when I wanted something like that, I wrote it down.

    B ~ 78 (04.02.12)
    A ~ 70 (08.31.12) ~ 77 (10.05.12)
    R ~ 81 (04.04.12)
    F ~ 65 (11.12.12) ~ 73 (02.28.13) ~ 77 (04.01.13)

I'll accidentally click the spreadsheet while doing MCQ's in Becker, and it freezes my computer for 2 minutes. I get irritated and now have hard feelings for the spreadsheet.

    R - *77*(02/'13)-Becker & NINJA
    A - 71('11); *87*(04/'13)-Becker & NINJA
    F - *76*(08/'13)-Becker & NINJA - "server upgrade" survivor
    B - 60('11); *82*(10/'13) -Becker & NINA

Thanks for the feedback! I normally use excel, and not the spreadsheet in Becker. Anyone know if the Becker spreadsheet is similar to the one used in the exams?
