    I took REG this morning and went in confident, feeling prepared…..the exam threw me a complete curveball…I scored on average around 85-90% on my practice exams with Becker…..why do I feel like I may have failed or barely passed? Anyone else take REG this past week or today or anytime and came out feeling like they had no clue if they did well or not???

    There is a HUGE difference between failing and barely passing.

    Be confident!

    FAR - 7/26/10 - 95
    AUD - 8/10/10 - 88
    BEC - 8/31/10 - 88
    REG - 10/15/10 - 95

    See the REG thread…it happened to a lot of us.

    Yes, I read that thread…still have mixed feelings, but I guess I just need to move on! Studying for FAR next and that one is going to be intense!!

    well I had that experience with FAR on 7/29… I know it's not the same section but just wanted to say I know how ya feel… sort of!

    FAR-91 (7/29)
    AUD-99 (8/23)
    BEC-90 (10/1)
    REG-99 (11/3)

    I was convinced I failed REG and passed and thought I did ok on FAR and failed. You just never know.

    This last attempt at FAR I cried somewhere between the 3rd and 4th testlet. If i weren't currently studying AUD, I'd be continuing to study FAR.

    We all say forget about it if you can (easier said than done of course). But really there is nothing you can do and you can't know for sure unless you didn't do literally half the test I guess.

    So move on and concentrate on the next section.

    Much like you, I was confident walking into REG two weeks ago after studying and doing well on the multiple choice as well as having an MST. However, there were some multiple choice questions that I had never seen before or would have ever imagined being on the exam as well as one simulation that I had literally no clue how to answer two of the tabs. Needless to say, I was humbled by the exam. I've started studying for my last section AUD and it is a struggle reading the material. Good luck studying FAR, it's definitely not easy either.

    @wishful

    I literally cried at my BEC exam back in FEB. I just knew i was ready. I gave up, selected my answer choice, began to cry, left the test site and bought one pound of fannie may's dixies. I told my friend that i failed royally!! She was stuck on the fact that i ate a pound of candy. Couldnt dwell because I had scheduled reg for 4/17. Scores were released and I got a FRIGGIN 71!!! Had I not given up and stuck it out things may have turned out differently. Hopefully you didnt give up and gave it your best try. You may see that you have passed. I would say move on to FAR, what's done is done. Take it in stride so you dont blow your next one.

    IL - BECKER=============> DONE
    REG - 80; FAR - 65,79; AUD - 53,78; BEC - 71,68, 75 (used becker and yaeger for 3rd BEC)Ethics 95

    Magic_8_Ball has some stellar advice here that I can definitely relate to. When I took my first exam, FAR, I almost thought about quitting once I got to the second testlet because it was so difficult but I toughened up and finished the exam and I passed. It wasn't by much, but it was passing and I really didn't care.

    magic 8 ball – thanks! i definitely finished the exam. i wasn't actually that stressed during it, just after the exam when i started thinking about how twisted some of those MC questions were! i was totally prepared going in and had scored very high on my becker practice exams, so i am very anxious to see if i did okay. hopefully i passed but if not i'll just have to pick myself back up and start over. i'm starting my study for FAR this week, so i can't think about REG anymore. 😉
