I am debating on whether getting updated materials for Reg, Bec, and possibly AUD (depending on whether I pass or not). I have 2011 materials from Exammatrix and feel they have prepared me well for the last two tests.

Does anybody have any suggestions?

I am planning to start studying for REG now, just the business law portion since I don’t think that will change much if at all. Is this a good plan?

Hello SunDevil – I am not sure how much help I will be, but I clicked on your post because of your name (I graduated ASU undergrad in 2003).

Back to the topic at hand, I think you will be ok. I just received my 2012 becker course for REG. I have a copy of the 2011 course from them as well. It seems to be almost the exact same thing. The only changes that I have noticed are some slight changes in dollar amounts. That being said, I am not fully through the course yet, and have really only covered the taxation portion so far. I would still recommend getting a 2012 review course, but in the meantime, you should be fine using 2011 stuff to get a head start on the material.

What do think our chances of beating Boise St. are? We are 2 touchdown underdogs, which I think is pretty fair. We started the season so strong and then just gave up halfway through. How depressing!

I'm not changing my REG materials. I'll work with what I have. My Gleim test bank updates itself online, so if any topic has changed, I'll be aware of it when I get to a question on it.

NJCPA- Thank you for the response. I think our chances are quite low against Boise State unfortunately. We'll see though, I feel like they are due to have a win lol.

@SunDevil13- I actually bought the 2012 materials for myself. I didn't intend to, but since I only have 1 year to pass REG, I need to make sure my materials are up-to-date.

You probably can get away with using your 2011 materials in Q1 2012, but afterwards, I'd look into updating your books.
