Anyone else spending a little turkey day action at the office trying to get some studying in before a test on friday or next week. Feel weird to be at the office on turkey day, but I guess you have to do what needs to be done for the rematch on Tuesday.

I'm not at the office, but I've invaded the kitchen table and walled myself off from the rest of the house. My family has no access to the kitchen or dining room until it's time to chow down. Good thing we have another kitchen downstairs and I'm not the cook!

@mopena14: I know exactly how you feel. I am a student and home for me is about 4 hours away, so I decided against going home for Thanksgiving and will be spending it alone staring down my AUD book (exam on Tues 11/29). Very accountant-like of me, but it was simple cost-benefit for me. If I give up this holiday and study, my chances of passing next week will be higher and I may get to enjoy my entire winter until I start work in January. If I don't, then my chances will be lower of passing and I may have to spend winter break studying for a retake in early January. There seems to be an obvious choice, to me anyway. Plus my sister is in dental school and has finals starting Monday so she won't be home either. Might as well try and work toward a time when I can see my whole family and be done than just part and maybe give up my winter as well. Good luck to all those hard workers!

I am in my office as well!! Feels very weird, but I am in here all the time… I basically live here! I will take a break to go eat Thanksgivig dinner at my friend's house and come right back to hit my Audit book! Good luck to all of you studying this weekend!

@ See P A, I live about 6 hours away and it wouldnt' have been beneficial to go home.

it does feel weird to be at the office cause its a ghost town around here, I work for the state, so there is not a soul anywhere except for maybe a security guard someplace. I am also going to eat a friend's house late this afternoon and then back at it somehow either reading notes or the office haha.

@mopena14 I really hope all this studying pays off next week! I work for an insurance company so there are a few call center people somewhere in the 1st floor and a guard… definitely a ghost town though… although I find it to be the best place to study as it's always quiet after hours and I have no distractions (except this site LOL)
