Are beckers passmaster questions close to what you find in the real exam?

Is becker weak in any particular area in regards to MCQ’s?

I would say most Becker questions are close the exam questions in the hard level testlets in term of difficulty. Wiley test bank has more depth and difficult, so if you are not comfortable in certain areas you can practice those questions from Wiley test bank to get a better grasp. I studied AUD, BEC, and FAR with Becker alone (I did purchase supplemental materials but didn't have time to use it at the end.) I studied REG with Becker and Wiley Test Bank and had the highest score among all my four tests. P.S. You can order the Wiley Test Bank from this website for a discount. 🙂

I found the end of chapter quizzes to be similar to exams. The final exam was a lot harder than the real thing.

I just took REG on 5/31 just using the Becker 2012 course and did just fine. I found the PassMaster questions to be quite similar to the real test. The difficulty of the PassMaster questions is similar to that of the real exam. If you go through the Becker MCQ's multiple times, you should be prepared for the real exam.

On the other hand, the Becker Final Exams were actually a lot harder than the real test (thank goodness). For REG, I got a 68 on the first Becker Exam and then a 75 on the second exam and ended up with a 90 on the real test.

I haven't used Wiley or any other CPA prep materials and so far Becker has been great at preparing me for the exam. I have only taken one portion but it was great for REG. (And I'm not a tax person by any means… I'm an auditor…)

I passed BEC and FAR using Becker exclusively. What I like about Becker it gives you a lot of the “worst-case scenario” type questions. In both my experiences, the actual exam was easier than the Becker practice exams. In all honestly, whether or not you fare well with Becker depends mostly on your learning style and the amount of effort you put in. There aren't as many questions as Wiley, but I think the questions they do have are very comprehensive and high-quality.

AUD - 93 PASSED
REG - 84 PASSED

I have used Becker Exclusively and I have found the test questions on the actual exam MUCH easier than the questions on the passmaster and final exams on Becker. Followed the recommended format and passed on the first try for the three I have taken thus far….
