This question is directed toward TAX people who have already taken REG. Did you find REG easier to study for than the other exams or compared to other test-takers?

REG will be my last exam, after being mostly done with completing my masters in tax. I was hoping it would feel easier and I could get through it without issue and rather quickly, having a background in tax.

Did having a masters degree in tax help you complete REG, or am I wrong in making this assumption?

    Thanks!

    AUD: 98
    REG: 91
    BEC: 86
    FAR: 83

DONE DONE DONE and DONE all on the first try! It IS possible, just keep on studying!

I'm a tax person – Master's in Tax and 8 years of corporate income tax. I've passed BEC and REG. My background definitely helped, but do not take it for granted because the exam will bite you. Overall, I think I spent between 60-75 hrs studying. It took me more time than expected to refresh my memory on the individual tax concepts. I kind of blew off BLAW in the end in order to beef up my tax questions. I walked out of the exam confident I had passed, but didn't think I blew it out of the water..and made an 82.

    BEC - 88 8/29/15
    REG - 82 11/14/15
    AUD - 83 1/8/16
    FAR - 80 2/29/16
