Starting my REG studies today with Yaeger. Should I go with tax or law first. My thought is that the tax rules will be more granular and it would be better to go over them closer to the exam date so they will be fresher in my mind.

    BEC - 11/25/08-61, 8/31/09-76*, 2/24/12-76
    AUD - 2/21/09-53, 8/31/10-60, 11/30/11-83
    REG - 11/30/09-68, 5/31/12-79
    FAR - 8/29/11-81

    IL Ethics - 93

    *Lost to 18-month Rule

Go over it in whatever order your review course tells you too. You'll be able to review the tax stuff again before your exam.

The correct answer is YES. Tax and Law.

Any tips for REG sims? For audit, read many posts that nothing can really prepare you for those, so didn't do any for audit. Not sure what to do w/REG – too little time too many mcqs to do.

    R - 74;88
    A - 84
    B - 74;89
    F - no study = 67; May 15 = 87 & done

Just follow Yaeger. They have you do Tax first then Law. You will be happy to get tax out of the way first since it is the most grueling, IMO.

Tina82- we take REG same day!

@Tina82: REG sims are generally tax and tax forms. Go to your library/post office/IRS office and pick up all the major tax forms for individual. 1040, A,B,C,D,E,F,SE corporate income tax, alternative minimum tax, partnership tax, partner's share of credits, etc. Get the forms, look at what they require, because you will see them on the SIMS.

I recommend Wiley Online Test Bank, that's what I used. You may get a SIM as simple as the Self Employment Tax form (3 lines) or something complicated as filling out the first page of the corporate income tax form or alternative minimum tax form.
