Using Becker, I will have REG completed in 14 days total. May 22 – June 5th .. I orginally started Beckers FastPass, but quickly realized this was a bad decision. The instructor would just say highlight this, highlight that… at least in the videos I could pause/rewind if needed.

I have been studying on my own, and currently I am on R7, and by Monday (June 4th) I should have the REG portion completed. (100% lecture, 100% homework, 100% sims).

My test is scheduled for July 2nd. This gives me almost 4 full weeks of studying (inc. weekends) for REG. I am fine studying on and off all day, maybe a total of 6 or 7 hours of quality study time. I have not read the book, unless I needed clarification while doing the MC.

After I finish on Monday, should I solely focus on MC from Becker & the Wiley Test Bank until my exam?

FAR — The day after REG I plan on starting to study for FAR from July 3rd to August 30th, with the exam date on August 31. I should be fine studying around 5-7 hours a day for this. Should I try to finish lectures/mc/sims within 5 weeks time, so that I have 3-3.5 weeks of full time MC/SIMS?

BEC — I am giving myself 5 weeks of full time studying. I quickly glanced over the material, and I don’t think I would be able to focus on the calculations once I start working (Oct 9th.) @ a Big4.

AUD — I am leaving this for last, I am going to focus on this while I work full time, and try to hit close to 150 hours or so total study hours (inc. lecture videos). Probably 6-7 hours on the weekend starting October 7th, and 2-3 hours after work everyday until Nov. 24 (exam).

I feel I am going to be fully prepared for all 4 sections If I go over Beckers MC & SIMS 2-3 times, make flashcards, and extensively use Wiley’s 2012 Test Bank & NINJA Notes.

Any suggestions to my suggested plan, or any tips?! Thanks 🙂

It is entirely doable to pass all four in a single window. You have the entirely right idea to put one at the beginning of the window and one at the end.

I'm taking all 4 in one window and am following Rogers schedule plan to a T. Well… sort of. I make some days longer and some days shorter but I'm getting through the material in the amount of time he suggests and have my tests more or less scheduled (as close as I could get) to his recommendations.

Following that I have a little more than a month for FAR with about 4 hours a day of study during the week and 8-9 on weekends (this is the part I tweak a little since I'm actually busier on the weekends). I got a little bit of a headstart but so far I feel like I can easily get through the rest of the info and have almost a week of review time. Figure 20 hours during the week, 18 on weekends times 4 weeks for a total of about 120 for FAR.

I'm more worried about REG since I have about 3 weeks for that only and I anticipate it will be harder for me.

Same thing for AUD. BEC I'm not concerned about since I'm fresh on a lot of that crap from my CMA.

If I was only doing 2 I would follow the same schedule you are, but I would probably read the books. Will be curious to see what people that have passed these sections have to say about it because the CMA isn't that much like the CPA. But if I hadn't read the books for the CMA I would have missed quite a bit of info.

I did all 4 sections in two windows. So far I passed three and I'm waiting on my last exam results. Here is how I did it… this is studying about 25-35 hours a week and 45+ hours the week before the exam.

Window 1: Start studying about 12 days into the first window and took two sections

BEC- 3.5 weeks

AUD- 3.5 weeks

Window 2: Began studying for FAR right after AUD and used the non test month and two weeks into the next window, then immediately started studying for REG and took it May 18th

FAR- 6 weeks

REG- 4.5 weeks (could have done this in 3.5 weeks if I wanted to… I actually considered moving my test date up but decided it wouldn't hurt to study an extra week)

It is definitely possible if you commit to it…

BEC - Feb 2012: 80
AUD - Feb 2012: 84
FAR - Apr 2012: 78
REG - May 2012: 90

Well, I have about 4 FULL weeks of study time, which I will use to re-review all of REG. My weak point is Business Law, and after reading many many posts, it freaks me out!

I passed all 4 in two windows, and crammed my studying much tighter than you have planned. I took the exams in the exact order you are. Its very doable as I took off a few weeks at a time from studying as well, but I do better with cramming. Good luck; hope you pass all 4 the first time.

any tips for me. I have no job,no school. I am planning to take REG and AUD this window, I finished school three yrs ago. I am using Becker 2012. I just BEC last week and spend 2 months. I will know this thurs, if I pass or not. but I think 2 months was more than enough. how does BEC compare to other section?
