I am taking REG on Monday, and am at the point where I feel like I have studied as much as I can and am now just going through the rhythms. Any advice on how to take these last 3 days so I don’t overdo it?

there is no such thing as overdoing it in my opinion. keep pushing, even if you feel you have studied as much as needed.

I felt like that with FAR. Turns out I had the big concepts down, but I needed to go back over the minor stuff (vocabulary, stuff that will never matter in real life, etc). I had at least 1 MC question that related to things I reviewed in the final 24 hours.

I personally get to the point where the law of diminishing returns comes into play. Especially, two years in and feeling pretty burned out. However, I still keep studying and reviewing to keep it as fresh as I can. You never know if you study 10 more things and 1 of them sticks and you get 1-2 mcq on it or a whole sims. Ahh, the treacherous journey we go through.

Focus on what you're still getting wrong. Take breaks to let your mind rest, and go over all of the concepts again at least twice if possible. Like if you have notes read them 100% twice, meanwhile focusing on anything you're still missing.

You can't study “too much”, but you can study too much at once and get burnt out to the point you're not making any progress. Breaks, and proper sleep and exercise (even if its just a nice walk) have been proven to help retain the information you're covering.

Don't over-do it, but don't stop.

I'm with Tommy on this one, no such thing as too much. And even if you have studied “too much”, then keep going through the rhythms because now is the time you should be obsessing over it more than ever if your test is Monday. Just keep all that information moving around in your mind even if you are sick of it.

I agree that there is never too much. I do think it's important to make sure you are doing it the “right way” when you are a few days away. In my experience, when I try to review everything I get lost. My regiment is usually as follows:
– study as much as possible, as long as possible
– 2 days before I do a practice test and do a FULL review of everything – all in this will take an entire day (usually take the days leading into the test off from work)
– day before – try to grab two or three more areas that I have struggled with and make them my strong points. I figure this will give me 2 or 3 more questions correct
– day of (usually shoot for a noon test) – read through all my notes one more time, with hopes of grabbing another 2-3 questions right.

As i'm sure you can see – my goal in the final days is to get 4-5 more questions correct on the exam. You aren't going to learn an entire becker chapter in 1 day. Also, if you've put weeks/months into studying – you probably know A LOT of the material. Hone in on a few tougher areas and review your notes.

I am taking REG next week as well. Even since FAR, I don't even take notes anymore. I just rely on pattern recognition and brute memorization. REG is much worse than FAR though. Some of the material is interesting to learn, but it makes me feel more burned out than any other section. I have been using cognitive supplements to help with focus and mental clarity. It really works and super beneficial when used on exam day. My sleep cycle currently is shit though…but that's okay this should be my last exam EVER.
