I’m preparing for the REG section, taking on 7/9/12. I was wondering if anybody out there has had experience with Gleim study materials. They don’ t have the video teaching component (other than a powerpoint type of presentation that just repeats the book outline). I bought NINJA notes yesterday as well as Jeff’s REG audio. Any suggestions on how to prepare in such a short time? Thanks!

@TrustHim….What do you think of the REG Ninja Notes? I'm considering purchasing them. Thanks.

@ TrustHim I found the Sims in Gleim really helped my understanding of material especially items which require calculations. Their test prep software was most useful because you can pick which chapters and even sub chapters you want to test on.

They lack the teaching part and with some of the material it is hard to break everything down into small parts to really learn it. However if you check you tube you can find some great videos to help. For example, Yaeger has helpful videos that explain 1231,1245,1250 and 291 property and AMT calculations too. Roger has some videos also. It was surprising how much info could be found on you tube.

@ Future_cpa Ninja notes were a very good supplement to everything and helped tie everything together. I wrote about half of them, but mostly reviewed them after my nightly study time. Reviewed them in the car eating lunch before the test felt like they helped.
