    I’m gonna start to study for REG this Monday and was wondering how much time people usually study for this section. From what I’ve read most people put from 6-8 weeks. I have my exam scheduled for July 31, so that gives me 7 weeks. Any input/advice? Thanks

    i did it in 7 weeks. it was ample time!! I wanted to push my exam up earlier but at that point i wasnt sure i wanted to pay the additional $60 or however much it is. are you using Becker? only the first 3.5 chapters of Becker is on tax- if you focus mostly on those couple of chapters (since tax constitutes the majority of the exam), you will find you have even more time than needed.

    I did it in about 4 weeks, but that was pretty much full-time studying (over Christmas break.) Taxation is also my area, and I had just finished Advanced Business Law.

    REG - 89
    BEC - 82
    FAR - 87
    AUD - 81
    Used CPAexcel, Wiley Online Practice, and NINJA!

    @emrld89.

    Should I be worried about calculation for the exam? 2012 ed for becker has 8 Sections. I just finished R3 and I am so sick of all Details so far. I dont know, by the time I get to section 8, I might just forget the previous 3.5 sections of REG. I started studying for REG June 8. and planing to take REG by July 16.

    is it enough time? what other section I focus most. (I dont work right now also)
