Is it possible to complete the preparation during such a short period for REG??

    Any study plan advice?

it really all depends on how much time your able to throw at it. but either way I say go for it, if you fail you fail. Try again with more prep time. Worst case senerio you fail and have more of a knowlege base going for try #2.

I will be full time study for this month, basically about 5-6 hours a day, 5 days a week.

Based on Becker's study planner, I don't have enough time to go over all the material 🙁

What is the rush? I took one exam per quarter for REG, BEC and AUD.

I studied 4-5 hours weekdays and at least that much and tried for 16 hours total on weekends, you can get through all the material in 4 weeks, but you might not have enough time for a sufficient review only doing around 25 hours a week.

Depends on how you learn, how long ago you've went to school, if you've prepared tax returns, etc (what your background is). Some of the information might not be so “difficult” to learn if you've had current experience with it.

I think 4 weeks is enough @ 25 hrs/week. That's what I did. I don't know if I passed but I know that I had enough time to adequately prepare (if that makes sense). If I didn't pass it's not because I didn't put it in the time…

I think your study plan could work. Just be careful as REG is a tough exam. I studied very intensely for 2 weeks at around 35 hours/week, but the exam was a close call for me. Others may stretch out their study time to 6-8 weeks, but that doesn't work for me. I study better under pressure. Cramming for exams is not ideal, but it can work. Good luck with REG!

    FAR - 7/7/10 - 94
    BEC - 7/24/10 - 77
    AUD - 8/17/10 - 97
    REG - 8/31/10 - 80
