Are all the sims Tax based?

    BEC: Passed
    REG: Passed
    FAR: Almost Past (lol)
AUD: I thought I passed with flying colors, but I wasn't close!

When I took Becker, they said that you are most likely to receive tax SIMS. Most software programs have tax SIMS and I think it's common knowledge that they are more common and more likely to appear.

However, as with everything, there are exceptions and you should be prepared for anything.

    REG - 80 (Becker only)
    BEC - 76 (Becker only)
    AUD - 71, 76 (Becker only)
FAR - 65, 74, 81! (Becker, Wiley Test Bank, Ninja notes & Audio)

    Thanks @Mrs 300.

Another question, do you think the research tab will be necessary for phase out figures and exact numbers(tax rates, etc), or will the Sims provide the information within the question. For FAR and Audit, I thought the research tab was “uber” helpful…..

I do not think the research tab will be necessary for phase out figures, etc. Becker told us that the examiners want to know that you know HOW to apply the phase outs & tax rates, not that you have them memorized. So problems will have the phase outs for you or the tax rates.

Sorry for always referencing Becker, but I figure what I am telling you is “safe” for disclosure if Becker can tell everyone!

I did find the research tab helpful for the REG SIMS, but not for phaseouts and such.
