Do we need to know these at all?

I know Gearty says not to worry too much about them but they are very hard for me to ignore

    FAR-92
    AUD-94
    REG-87
    BEC-(April)

I have ignored them (for good or bad).

    FAR 88 - BEC 86 - AUD 90 - REG 85

Thank goodness, there are way too many limits and phase outs to remember.

CPA Someday, what was your trick to success on REG?

    AUD (11) & FAR (10) = 89
    BEC (10) & REG (11) = 78

I re-wrote all of the tax stuff to remember, like the order on the 1040 forms and complete every sim you can in Becker!! I also did both final exams in Becker and understood and reviewed the questions that I got wrong. I would do progress tests on all chapters daily. Trying to get 90% plus. It really helped on exam day. I felt the multiple choice questions were word for word to becker.

Also, I highly advise the final review for the REG and FAR portion in Becker. REG final review was so good!!! Tim Gearty literally holds your hand through the completion of numerous tax documents. Very helpful!!

That was my first exam, so I had the MOST energy for it. I also have a small interest in tax and business law.

Good Luck 🙂 I was exhausted by the time I got to AUD and didn't give it the credit it deserved.. so I failed. I'm now studying for it again.. what a difference!

Thanks for the tips. I did the constant Becker progress tests for FAR and that really helped.

    AUD (11) & FAR (10) = 89
    BEC (10) & REG (11) = 78
