Section 179 vs Bonus depreciation

    Does Section 179 deduction need always to be taken before Bonus depreciation?
    Is the excess amount over 1M (undeducted) eligible to Bonus deduction?

    Yes to both questions.
    According to Becker, the order of depreciation is Section 179, Bonus, & MACRS.
