@Mike,
for FAR, AUD and REG I felt prepared adequately with Becker although for each section I had supplemented with extras.
For example, for FAR: watched youtube vid on random subjects, downloaded some examples, etc.
For AUD: used old Gleim book for sections that were omitted in Becker.
For REG: used Bus. Law textbook and answered after chapter questions, conferred with Ninja notes on subjects that were conflicting or were not clear from Becker, youtube videos of Yaeger explaining section 1245/1250/291 and Roger explaining insurance, and used Willey 24 hours free trial to bang out a lot of their questions as well.
In the retrospect, just working out Becker all including free optional MCQ, and all sims was adequate. Additionally, Becker provides old AICPA questions that are discarded and I used them for each section in addition to 2 final exams. Will see how it is going to be with BEC 🙂
@Everybody,
Yes, the waiting game and all the excitement and doubt!
It is probably the most difficult part of the exam, with the second being months of preparation without any life. Last night after the test was the first time in several months that we went out and today, I can not help but feel guilty of not touching study material.
I forgot to post timing breakdown, so here is is:
<tab 1 @ 2:38 very doable questions, 2 were flagged for being unclear of what they were asking
<tab 2 @ 2:00 moderate questions, went up in difficulty evidenced by a majority of calculations, flagged around 7 to recalc and ponder on question itself.
tab 3 @ 1:33 not as easy as 1 but a notch down from 2. Flagged 3 questions that asked stuff that was not in the review or at least, wording was foreign. Gave them best shot.
<break
<started sims @ 1:25
completed sims @ 0:58
reviewed second time and found 2 errors (one math, one conceptual with answer in AL): 0:20
kept going over stuff for the remaining time and tried to poke around AL until the last 5 min.
Overall, test was similar to FAR maybe slightly less calculations b/c of BL portions.
