I just got a 70 on REG, and I am pissed. I now have 3 window’s to pass REG and FAR before both AUD and BEC will expires. Pressure is on.

I plan on retaking REG in July, while it is fresh in my mind. I haven’t gotten my score report yet indicating what areas I’m weak in, but, I’m 90% sure I failed because of the three business law chapters (I didn’t study them the way I should have). I am using Becker.

If my score report reflects my hunch about being weak in Blaw, is it sufficient to just re-do all of the tax mcq’s and sims as a refresher and then really nail down the business law chapters like I should have done in the first place? Do I need to just start from scratch and re-watch all of the lectures?

This will be my first re-take of any section and I’m not sure how to approach the studying…not really sure how to study for sims either as my REG sims were brutal and am sure this helped contribute to my lousy 70. Thanks for the input

Approach a retake as if it is your very first time taking the exam. Do not get caught up in the “need 5 more points” mentality because you need 75 points. Plan to at least duplicate the amount of time you put in already. Trust me as someone who took AUD three times, the next exam you see for REG will not look like the first one you took.
