I took Regulation Test yesterday. MCQs are kind of tricky and involve clear understanding of the subject concept. This is my second try and I took earlier on 02/29 and scored 69. The standard of MCQs are increased from Medium to Hard level. I got all 3 testlets at Hard level and handled it well. I finished MCQs in one and half hours and spared one and half hour for simulations. To my surprise all simulations are easy and manageable. 4 simulations did it well, 1 did it with 70% accuracy and could not finish the research portion. Last 15 minutes, I started research …. the research went on for hours until the exam timed out. The only suggestion, I want to give you folks is that once you finished a single simulation DO NOT EVER open and try to change the answers. Once locked it lock it for ever. The 5th simulation I did it perfectly, but in closing seconds, I tried to change the answer and the new answer was never saved. Particularly these kind of simple mistakes are so catastrophic when it involves — expense enter in (2,000). One key additional stroke makes the difference. In my case, I think this is the difference which judge 73 or 74 or 75. Came out of test center with anger, frustration and helplessness. How well you prepared for the test, the execution is the key. Also look for the question carefully and find out THE CALL OF THE QUESTION (as per Tim Gearty), whether the examiner is asking for the basis or gain or loss. BEC and AUD on the line. Good luck…
