    Hey Yall

Hope everyone is having a good Sunday night studying… ugh haha…

I was just wondering for all of you who have taken reg already- how much time should I allot to the Reg Sims?

Becker recommends 25-30 min, but for FARE and AUD, i left about 45min each.

Are the sims for Reg just shorter vs the other sections, or do I just need to work FASTER haha…

    Thanks in advance

    BEC - 93
    FAR - 94
    AUD - 95
    REG - 99

I suppose it is pretty hard to say shorter for sure but I didn't have TONS of tabs. I personally like having a lot of time for the simulations so if you can go through the MC quickly leaving 40m per sim is always nice to have.

I don't really spend time worrying about MC. If I know it I do; if I can't figure it out I just guess the best I can.

I think I did have somewhat less tabs for REG.. but I still think they can be time consuming. My course recommended 36 minutes per each testlet & sim, which seems more reasonable. Writing takes awhile.

REG is more tight for time than any of the other exams. You need to allow yourself no more than 1 1/2 minutes, on average, for each multiple choice question. Check your time after each 10 questions when you are studying.

Additionally, I memorized my time schedule for each testlet BEFORE I took the exam. I wrote that budgeted time schedule on my scratch paper at the exam. I also put down the time that I finished each testlet next to my budgeted time.

I also managed my scratch paper at the exam. I divided each page into three columns.

If you do not manage your time on the REG exam, the exam will manage you! You need to control the exam, or the exam will control you! Gleim gives some very good tips for managing the exam.
