Regulation Progress Test & Final Exam

    I took three Becker Progress Tests for Regulation and received the following grades (in this order): 75, 81, 73. Also, before taking these I took a Final Exam where I received an overall average of 61 on the multiple choice. My current strategy is to look at the areas I need extra work and to spend a little more time looking at those areas and trying to understand why I got the question wrong. Any suggestions or comments as whether these grades are a good sign or a bad sign?

    Regulation - 4/29/11 - 88
    BEC - 5/28/11 - 81
    Financial - 8/1/11 - 80

    I think your approach is correct. You did good on progress tests which shows your understanding and remembrance of the material. The final exam score just needs to be looked at. I guess the questions were much harder or you just got nervous and did not pay attention to what “they are asking for”. I think you will do good on the real exam. Best of luck!

    Thanks, I appreciate that. I'm having success looking over these areas where I did poorly, and I'm figuring it out.

    I recommend you to study the Ethics and Professional responsibilities well. Maybe read them twice before the day of the exam. However, If you know them well, I think you are good to go.

    Did you just use Becker for the study material?

    I used Becker and Yaeger Audio. I took it earlier today and felt I did OK. Not neccessarily great, but OK. I know I messed up the Research Tab and one of the other Tabs to the Sim Section. Otherwise, I think I did well on most of the Sims and MC.

    Hey Matt,

    I have Becker as well and was looking to supplement it with some audio CD's. Would you recommend Yaeger for this? There are so many options other than Becker and I don't know which one to pick as I saw some use alot mnemonics which is the last thing I need more of.
