I am taking REG on Friday morning and I feel like I just might be ready for this exam. I have spent the last 2 weeks rewriting the AMT formula, adjustments and preferences and re-reading all of my notes, plus endless MCQ. With that being said, I'm pretty nervous about the exam and feel like if I try to cram in any more knowledge I am going to forget something that is equally important!
I hope I hope I get a bunch of questions on where stuff goes and A simulation that gives a bunch of info and asks where it goes. I can do that all day that would be some luck!!
I took Reg this morning – and honestly I think if I get anything above a 60, I'll be pleased. I went into the exam feeling great, I was doing pretty good on the mcq this week and I had everything pretty much down, or so I thought. The first testlet was a breeze, the second was considerably more difficult and then the third was somewhat easier than the second. I've learned that this is not a good sign. The first simulation was horrible, the second a little better. I left prometrics pretty much in tears.
I am preparing to write reg in Aug.I am using becker 2009 .Are all the updates available in becker site applicable for Aug 2010 exam ,or is there some cutoff date.
Does anyone feel like you'll never actually be ready for REG? There's a lot I know, but as I review and take practice tests, there's still a TON I don't know and/or am familiar but I just can't remember the details. This is the most overwhelming exam so far. I have 11 days til the test. Its especially frustrating when you think of how few multiple choice questions there are in comparison with all the material to learn. This is dreadful. I don't think I'll be ready!
What's the word on the number of pretest/practice MC questions? I read somewhere up to 20%, are there supposed to be more for REG or something? I always thought it was like 5-6 questions max. Thanks
can anyone tell me which dvds are covered Law in the Yaeger Home Study section. I do not have their home study but I am thinking of ordering but I was curious to see how many cds consist of non-tax or law so I can plan my “study schedule”. Thanks.
Hi all, sitting for REG this Saturday 7/31 for the first time. I've gone through all Becker lectures and homework questions(including supplemental ?'s). Have heard from many that the concentration of the exam is on tax-any advice for these last two nights of review? I feel I grasp all concepts, but am not mastering any of the material. Suggestions for the remainder of my cramming? I've passed AUD and BEC and have FAR grade on the way (7/1) – this could possibly be my last!
