Has anyone taken class with H&R block for REG ? Is it a good idea or is it worth your time? I used becker and wiley , but i still didn’t pass this section on the second try. My score was around 60.

Depends on what you were missing on the exam. What were your weak areas that caused you to fail? Focus on your weak areas first. I know the reason for my first failing REG exam, which was Property transactions and business law. Plus, I did not give myself enough time to do a review.

When studying to retake an exam, I started with the areas that hurt me most and finished with my stronger sections. I shoot for 85%-100% on all my MCQ's just before taking the exam.

    CPA EXAM: DONE!!!!
    Ethics Course: Passed
    Application Mailed: 3/16/15
    Professional Conduct Exam: 97
    Certification Date: 4/2/15!!!

I didn't take the class with them but I DID take their exam (if you score hire than 80 or 85 you don't need to take the class). The exam was free, open book and you were given something like 3 hours (which you could pause and restart the exam.)

I found the process of searching for the answers to be helpful. Maybe not the most efficient use of time, but helpful.

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

Massachusetts CPA (non reporting) since 3/12.
