Good Luck!! I hate the B-law part, but as long as you perform strong in all the tax part, you should pass!!

Last time, I took it…I skipped ENTIRE business law (wouldn't recommend it to anyone) and got 72. So, if you know have at least read the chapters and did the MCQs, you should be fine!

Thanks hopefull, I can probably get 50-60% correct on the non tax stuff, hope thats enough. The ethics and professional responsibility seem logically. The whole 1933, 1934 acts, sec rule 11b ect are hard to remember. I do realize under sect 11 of the 1933 act, the burden of proof on the cpa to prove he/she acted with due diligence. The check endorsement section is confusing as well, nothing like this happens in practice. People sign checks, endorse them then cash them, period. What a-hole would sign Mr. Jones – without recourse.

Just took REG today. It was my first ever section of the CPA exam. I went in slightly nervous, but confident, as I felt like I had prepared pretty well. I used Becker and saw good improvement in my MCQ's over the past month. The exam was tough, but fair. I thought I did pretty well on the tax questions today (except for one of the sims that was difficult for me). If anything, the law questions felt like my weakness but it was usually possible to eliminate some obviously incorrect answers and make a solid educated guess on the ones I didn't know. My advice would be to skip through questions you don't know and answer all of the ones you know for sure in each testlet first and then go back and spend more time on the tricky ones to give them your best shot after you have built up a little more confidence and possibly pulled out some other info by working through the other questions.

    Good Luck!
