REG-To those who have passed.

    So I will be taking REG at the end of August. It’s my last section and I want to attack it hard to make sure I do not have to deal with it again. To the people that that have passed it in the past, any tips you would like to give me? It looks a bit intimidating, should I be worried?

    Don't worry too much about memorizing all of the phaseouts. I was in the same situation you were in with REG and decided to ramp up my study time a bit cause I didn't want to have to retake. I read the text once, made a 2 page note sheet of important bits of info, and hit the MCQs hard. Highly recommend the Ninja MCQs for this section.

    did you go through a lot of the ninja sims or just the mcq?

    Any other advice from anyone on best ways to prepare? Meaning like, important topics or how to get ready for those infamous sims…ahh

    I want to know if the Ninja SIMS are a good representation of the actual SIMS. The Wiley SIMS for FAR were extremely easy in comparison to the actual exam. I hope that isn't the case with the Ninja REG SIMS too.

    CPAMommyof3, I felt like the Ninja SIMs were a good representation of the actual SIMs for REG. I used Wiley for FAR and felt pretty uncomfortable with the SIMs on the actual exam. I was super surprised to get an 87 and didn't really feel like I deserved it. I used Ninja for REG and I knew that I did pretty darn good on the exam. I felt confident on the SIMs and the MCQs.
