Anyone have any tips/tricks for the REG exam? For instance, using the AL for the AUD sims proved very helpful on my latest attempt, which i passed. And that gem came from our fellow Ninjas.

Does anyone have any similar stuff for REG?

    FAR - 1/26/2012 - PASSED (78, but Lost credit), re-do 11/27/2013 - PASSED (87)!
    AUD - EPIC FAIL, 71, 69; 68; 5/25/2013 - PASSED (85)!
    REG - 10/1/2012 - 72; 7/1/2013 - 73 UGH, 10/1/2013 - PASSED (85)!
    BEC - 2/28/2013 - PASSED (82)!
    Licensed CPA!

Used Becker self-study materials (just this for FAR original & REG #1), WileyTestBank, NINJA notes/audio, and Roger cram course for AUD #5, REG #3 & FAR reboot. CPA!

Endless MC to prepare and come test day…RTFQ!

“AL” can also be useful for the sims on REG.

Looking up tax code in the IRC for REG SIMS is just brutal. I feel like I am reading another language. My advice, as @SMP said, is to hammer MCQs until you can't stand it anymore. I also bought the NINJA audio for REG to supplement my studies, which helped bring home some of the more important topics. If you can do well on the multiple choice questions, I feel like you have a very good chance with the SIMS. I feel like REG, more than any other exam, has the potential for SIMS to just come straight from left field. Honestly, sometimes there just isn't enough you can do to feel comfortable with some of the topics.
