Just looking for recommendations on how much time to allocate to each testlet and sims. I was thinking something like:

    40 min per testlet

    90 min Sims

    Thoughts?

    FAR - 81 (8/31/12)
    AUD - 93 (10/19/12)
    BEC - 79 (11/27/12)
    REG - 92 (2/8/13) DONE! All 1st attempt!

If you spend 40 minutes on each MC testlet, you'll only have an hour for SIMS (It's a 3 hour exam).

Spend about 30 minutes on each MC testlet. You'll need a lot of time for the SIMS.

    REG- 91
    AUD- 97
    BEC- 91
    FAR- May

24 MC on each MC testlet. At most 1 min 30 sec for each question. This is 108 minutes in the 3 MC testles.

Gives you 72 min for sims. 12 min per sim

If you do the 3 MC testles in 90 min you get 15 min per sim.

Somewhere in between these two would be a good target.

    BEC - 5/2012 - 91
    AUD - 8/2012 - 89
    REG - 1/2013 - 90
    FAR - 5/2013 - 88

When I took REG I gave myself 30 minutes per MC testlet and the rest of the time to the SIMS.

When I took REG, I really really underestimated the amount of time I would need for the SIMs. REG was the first 3-hour exam of the four that I have taken. I took Auditing prior to that and I was left with like 45 minutes. So I was thinking with REG having 18 less multiple choice problems and 1 less SIMs, time wouldn't be an issue. So I didn't really do any clock management. I was a little reckless with my speed. I was triple checking my multiple choice answers(really when only checking once is good enough for MC since it's not fill-in-the-blank).

I got to the SIMs with about 1 hour and 3 minutes left. And I thought I was okay, but once I got to the questions they were all really long and asked me to read so much. And the answer boxes asked for so much. I really panicked for that entire hour. I wasted so mch time just from my panic attack. I actually was still inputting answers as my clock went down to zero.

So if I was you, I would try my best to allocate more time for the SIMs. I would recommend 1:20 atleast. So that'll leave you around 33-34 minutes for each testler. Your pace would have to be around 1 minute and 10 seconds for each question.

Thanks guys. For some reason since my Prometric confirmation said the appoint was for 3:30 I assumed the exam was 3:30 and never gave it a second thought.

Well, leaving now to go destroy REG and be done with this whole thing!

    FAR - 81 (8/31/12)
    AUD - 93 (10/19/12)
    BEC - 79 (11/27/12)
    REG - 92 (2/8/13) DONE! All 1st attempt!
