Reg test in 10 days and I am scoring 60% average and trending on MCQ. I am struggling with corporate tax and business law. I am able to study 2-3 hours a day…do I have a chance or am I in trouble? This is my 1st exam.

I would spend all your time on weak areas until the day or two before the test and then review everything. What test bank are you using?

    REG 8/15/14 (73); 11/13/14 (82)-expired 🙁
    AUD 5/30/15 (80)
    BEC 11/28/15 (75)
    FAR 7/30/16

Using Ninja MCQ and Becker book.

10 days is more time than you think. just keep at it and you will get there. i also used becker and ninja. i went through the becker lectures once and one go through on the multiple choice (excluding the optional) then switched to ninja for the last 10 days or so. i went into the exam with a 77% trending and got a 79 on the actual exam. the more you practice the questions the more it will come together in your head. but like tax lady said, identify your weak areas and hammer those sections. try to stay calm and just focus on plowing through this. you will get there.

Hmm well we're sort of in a similar situation. I have 3 days left, times 10 hours a day = 30 hours, just like you. I am scoring 6-70% on questions I see for the first time (just last night exhausted that population). For a random adaptive learning MCQ round I now score 85%+ and finish 30 Q's in 30 minutes, but not sure if that's because I have memorized the questions (seen them once before), or not. I'm worried that I would be down at 65-70% again if I were confronted by all new questions.

@kroko — I know the feeling. I was scoring terrible on the homework for business law, a subject I have always done well in. I am hoping that is sinks in during the next 2 weeks.

Good luck this week. I look forward to us posting in the “I Passed Reg Thread”……

@krokofilen- how do you study REG in such a short period of time? do you ditch the videos and just go through questions? do you read the book instead? please let us know your study plan. I started studying reg yesterday and have 14 days- debating if I should ditch the videos or not. Any advice is appreciated.

I am also taking REG in 7 days. I am scoring around a 70 on trending and avg score. I have a problem not reading the entire question and am stuggling with calculating taxable income for partners and shareholders. My biggest things is that I can go and score an 85% on 20 questions or even a 90%… and then I'll hit a slump where I've had it all the way down to 50%. Does that happen to anyone else?

jgmart04 – happens all the time – maybe when you are scoring in the 50s it's because you are tired? maybe step away from it for a few, grab a snack and then go back at it!

    A - 75
    B - 78 God is good.
    F - 77 Answered prayers.
    R - 84! Done!!

Paperwork sent - waiting for license!!
Still on a cloud and in shock. Through God, all things will happen.
