I am taking Reg November 30th and going through the Becker info I feel that more is geared towards law than tax……just curious what people thougth of the exam composition…..any particular areas where I should focus more attention??

Also how is the time constraints for REG…..I found FAR tough to finish with the alloted time

The law topics are many and wordy. But its supposed to be only 20-25% of the entire exam. It can make or break you but. The biggest bang for the buck is the Professional Responsibilites chapter = 15-20% make sure you know that inside and out.

I agree with Herbie I felt I struggled with the Prof. responsibilities portion of the exam (was kicking myself during the exam not focusing more on that)…… I felt like Chapter 5 in Becker (which I believe were the contracts, ugh perfection) was really tough but I went to overboard with the studying in that one area and felt like that almost made me fail was going to crazy on Chpt 5 which I was struggling with, I say make sure you focus more on prof. responbilities……

Also REG was the only exam in which I was running out of time, I would say try to knock down the 3 testlets in 90 mins and leave yourself a good Hour and a half for the sims, you will need them. Good luck.
