So I have started studying fro REG and I was wondering how specific are the questions in regards to tax numbers and rates that change from year to year? I am using Becker and they include quite a bit of information about 2010 and 2011 phase-outs, maximums, rates, etc. Also some of the MCQs are asked with the assumption that we know the numbers for each year.

For those who have taken REG, will they provide us with any year-specific information or should I be memorizing it?

    Thanks!

    BEC (October 2011) - 86
    REG (January 2012) - 89
    FAR (February 2012) - 89
    AUD (April 2012)

I seem to remember that most of the specific numbers like phase-outs, etc. are given to you if it is presented in a MCQ. I don't recall having to remember specific amounts.

    AUD - 83
    FAR - 78
    BEC - 76
    REG - 86 PTL!!!!!

Used CPAExcel & Wiley testbank (awesome by the way)
