I know tons of people already asked this question, but again how do you effectively study and pass REG? I just passed FAR and now started studying for REG. It’s … to me another animal, I feel like I read through it I understand but I don’t retain much when I do MCQs, I have to go back and look at the lecture to find the answers, I take notes for every lectures but it slows me down, so I change from hand-written notes to OneNote, but not any faster ==! Anyone passed without taking notes? Just reading and listening to lectures, doing a lots of MCQs and SIMs (for important topics) sound good strategy?

You should be fine with REG since you passed FAR. Take only notes of materials you are struggling with to save time. Know the critical concepts in REG such as difference between before and after taxed money, computing basis, C and S corp, partnership,
individual gains n losses on distribution n contributions, return of capital, 1245 n 1250 rules, etc.
