I took each part once and haven’t passed yet. I used Becker I hilighted and underlined key words etc. I read the chapters and take my own notes. Each time I take the test I felt prepared and feel like I know the information.

I decided to switch to another review program Yeager. I keep doing the multiple choice questions over and over again and I do the lectures. I really liked Becker.. So far I like Yaeger as well. I’m hoping maybe it will give me a different perspective.

I just wanted to know if you have any advice as to what else I can do to pass this test. For Yaeger with Reg do you suggest I do all the questions in Yaeger or just doing the ones they say to do is enough? Any ideas/tips is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

I think that you will find that Yaeger does a better job explaining tax problems than Becker. I was very fortunate to pass REG on the first try with Yaeger when I only studied 2/3 of Yaeger (tax)!

I also bought 3 Hot Spots from Bisk:

    1. Property taxation (1 hour, 35 minutes)

    2. Corportate Taxation (3 hours)

    3. Partnerships & other tax topics ((2 hours, 15 minutes)

Bob Monette teaches these three subjects. Like Dr. Phil Yager and Cindy, Bob Monette is awesome! If you have trouble with any of these subjects, buy these Bisk Hot Sports at a disount. Between Dr. Phil Yaeger and Bob Monette you will be able to correctly work the most difficult tax problems that the exam throws at you. It worked for me!

P.S. It is always better to work all of the multiple choice questions in Wiley. However, I did not have time to do so. I also bought Becker, but I got frustrated with Becker and I switched to Yaeger. I only used Becker's lectures and book as a reference.
