I put my exam date (07/19) into the Ninja MCQ bank and marked off 4 days a week I can study. It calculated that I needed to study 6 hours a day until my test date. That’s 216 hours! Wow. For those of you that have taken and passed REG, does that seem right to you? I was shooting for 160 hours between now and then. That is going to change my entire study plan. I’ve taken enough tests to know it varies by person, but that’s a big difference.

CPA Exam - Finally DONE (November 2014)
    BEC (08/10/13) 80
    AUD (08/24/13) 65 (11/13/13) 85
    FAR (04/12/14) 81
    REG (07/19/14) 69 (11/29/14) 87!!

I'm the same way. Just having a hard time getting back into after my 6 week break after FAR. I needed that time with my family, but it's hard to jump back in. I will kick it into gear this weekend. Thanks for the encouragement!

I'm waiting on my NTS but I plan to take REG on 7/19 too. This will be my 2nd time so I don't plan on studying 3 hours per day as NINJA suggested. I'm exhausted after cramming for BEC. I want a little “relaxation”. 🙂

You can do it mamabear! I took about 220 hours for far, 150 for aud, and easily 230 for reg which I took yesterday. So I'm not sure that I passed yet… I needed the time because I have zero tax experience and didn't learn much from my college class either. I felt comfortable with my hours. If I had studied with a little more ‘rigor' I know I could have cut those hours down without a problem. A lot of those 230 hours we're spend answering MCQ all night while sitting with my husband watching tv 😉
