    They can be added or subsracted.

    According to Bekcer

    ACE adjustments = MOLDD

    M – municipal bond interest -> add back
    O – organizational expenses -> add back
    L – Life insurance proceeds of key employees -> add back
    D – Difference btwn AMT depreciation and ACE depreciation -> add back if AMT dep. > ACE dep.
    D -> DRD of 70% companies -> add back

    @aatoural I see now that the depreciation is the one that can go either way. Thanks!

    Got my score report back just now–wow, worst one yet. From a positive that means plenty to improve upon :).

    @dtatham10, I have no idea if Colorado sends out score reports! I am hoping that I will get mine. I just scheduled REG retake for 1/2/17 but I will have to drive to Colorado Springs, an hour away from Denver. Ugh.

    @Gak Yassa,

    On the Becker dashboard go back to portal home, then select the options tab on the left side, go down to Performance Statistics, select performance summary, then select rest stats on the top right side of the page. I just did mine too.

    @namstut you need to take them with a grain of salt. I doubt I adjust how I study because of it–lets just put it that way. I got weaker on everything besides 2 categories and got a 71. I would say that's probably a good indication that my “weaker” scores were probably right on the line of comparable and weaker.

    @dtatham10 – It also depends on the type of exam you got. For example I got weaker on individual tax but I know it is because most of the questions were on my weak area in the individual tax section. If I had gotten tested on other part of individual tax then I would have probably gotten more than 72.

    @aa True. That's another thing–it's not an apples to apples comparison. I got weaker in areas I never have. I'm just going to chalk it up as me not being mentally prepared come exam day.

    I am trying to not lie to myself as much as I can. There were some areas that I know exactly I was weak so I am trying to mend that. The hard part is like you mentioned before, try to keep the strong areas strong.

    @dtatham10, I just got my performance report. No surprises.

    Stronger in Federal Tax and Property, Comparable on Business Law, Individual Taxation, Taxation on Entities. Weaker on Ethics and Legal and SIMs. So overall Stronger on MCQs and weaker on SIMs.

    Ethics and legal – I totally blew that one, I knew it when I walked out of the Prometrics center. SIMs – I ran out of time, I believe I could've done much better if I had more than 30 minutes.

    @namstut that's close to the opposite report as me lol! I had comparable in ethics and stronger in B-law and everything else weak. It's funny because those are the 2 categories I spent the least time on. I was so focused on corp and individual tax because I knew those are mainly what gets tested on the sims which has always been my weakness. I'm starting to think I could take the sims 100 times and never get comparable or stronger on them…idk what it is about them but they are so brutal. I'm just looking to squeak by at this point.

    Thought this was kind of a funny story. I was talking to one of my prior bosses who's a cpa. I told him about my struggles with REG. Apparently he was struggling with REG as well and said he had gotten to a point where he gave up. Scheduled the exam and didn't open a book for a month. If he failed he would lose 2 sections and told himself he was done for good. He said he ended up getting his best score of all 4! Insane!
