how does that 10 week release work for people that have credits dropping off 3Q..do you have to wait till you get your release mid august then try and retake that exam in 17 days before 3Q ends? Or will they extend your 18 month window by a quarter?

**EDIT–I guess they keep up with the test windows extending into the dead period so you would have 27 days instead of 17–looks like 3Q ends 9/10/17**

dtatham…im not sure i was asking myself the same question,,,i do plan to have the exam completed by the time the new one rolls out but imagine waiting 4 months for your score lol,,they have to accommodate those who lose their credits in like June and July…i also hear that they are thinking about extending the 18 months to 24,,,and also taking multiple failed sections in the same window,,,im really lucky as I have 6 windows to pass my remaining sections,,,hopefully I see a REG pass this week and only need one by 6/30/18,,banged out 3 in one window

Crazy StickyNicky I did a quick google to see about this 24 month window and Becker had an article on it. It also said it's considering allowing retakes in the same test window you failed?! I just can't see them doing that. That would be too good to be true lol. It talks about it at the end of my link.

@sticknicky my post disappeared so I apologize if I repeat myself! I found a becker article that talks about it–they also say they are considering allowing retakes in the same period you failed an exam. That seems far fetched to me! I just couldn't imagine them allowing that–unless all they care about is $$$.

You were right dtatham10! Got my NTS this morning and scheduled for 1/17. Hopefully that falls within the first score release.

Now that I have a set date I need to get my ass in gear. Gleim's been killing my confidence, but I like that it seems much harder than the actual exam. Just did the S Corp sims and it had a DRS that was brutal!

I want to try and finish all before new exam, but it is gonna be really close. I do have time until February 2018 for me to lose a credit but it is nerve wracking to read all this.

I would imagine so. I guess the answer would be in the disclaimer u have to read at the beginning of the program.

@jcberthoud – never hurts to ask. I just think is too much for Gleim just for SIMS, but everybody seems to agree that is a better preparation for SIMS in REG and FAR.

@aatoural- I would assume it's not allowed and if they were smart they wouldn't let multiple people be logged in at the same time. I've been using Gleim for a couple weeks and I think it's worth the price, although I got it on a discount. The mcq's are way harder than Ninja or the actual exam and the sims are about as close to the real ones as you're going to get.

I purchased the test bank which includes a hard copy of the book. It was on sale during Cyber Monday for 15% off. Not sure if you can still get it at that price, but I would contact their customer service and see if they'll honor it.
