    What is everyone's average on the NINJA MCQ's? I am at 72%, but my test is Wednesday, so I am not certain that's enough!

    @Teal, kind of sucky (58%, because I have exactly a 50% in Blaw about 64% in all other categories). Just scratching and clawing my way to the review phase. 399 questions to go!

    BEC - 71(5/16) Retake (9/16)

    Yeah, I do custom first, then will switch to adaptive once I hit review phase. Have you been going adaptive (non-custom) the whole time?

    No I have just been doing adaptive, but I feel like they keep giving me the same questions over and over! I don't know if I need to do some different ones. I keep getting them right now, but it seems like I keep getting the ones that I originally had gotten wrong.

    Def. Finish Becker in its entirety. Ninja Mcqs are a great supplement and reinforcement.

    blah. Starting my 3rd attempt at REG on 11/15 and testing 12/5. I could use some advice.

    First attempt: Only used Becker.
    Second attempt: Becker for the readings, NINJA MCQ for problems, and some Becker homework.
    Third attempt:
    I can't really figure out what I should use to study for this thing again. Skip reading the book for a 3rd time? Stick to just MCQ and SIMS from Becker? Get NINJA PlUS videos? Buy NINJA MCQ again?

    anything would help.

    @alejandrogarcia

    Did you do all of the questions in NINJA MCQ ?

    With only 3 weeks left I would restart the NINJA MCQ and do all the questions at least 2x and ALL the SIMS. Next 3 weeks are really going to SUCK but you can do it.

    GOOD LUCK !

    So I've told myself from the beginning that once I get down to 1 exam remaining that the motivation to study would just come. Now I'm finally to that point and I've found it harder then ever to regain motivation. My studying has been worse then its ever been. Is anyone else running into this issue?

    I am taking some extended FMLA time for when we have our 2nd child so I keep telling myself I will catch-up then but WOW this is bad!

    I found the same thing happened to me. I think its just CPA burnout. I finally passed AUD with a 75 on the 3rd try. I thought that would motivate me to pass the last 3 exams but instead i was depressed. It was SO HARD to get that 75 i was not sure ifI could ever recreate it. And here I am now back at it and my AUD score expired 2 months ago. I just decided to submit to the process and more importantly keep taking the exam. The 10th of every month is my “testing period” I take a real or practice test every month at that time until i pass.

    @dtaham10 – I'm so happy to hear you passed AUD!! 🙂 I am burnt out as well, I have been putting serious study time this past week because I was lacking and on top I had a few family issues, but we gotta keep going. Mostly you only have REG to take down. Just push a bit more you are almost there. Think of it as having only one more try at it while many people (myself included) have to study through the holidays (not fun).

    @aatoural its finally good to meet again! I appreciate the support! You're right, I shouldn't take this for granted. I remember a year ago having to study through the holidays and it was not fun! Looks like you only have a couple weeks to go before your exam–are you at the review stage yet? How's it been going?

    For you NINJA MCQ users… question on the SIM with Clay, Finch, Lark, & Token Corporate Formation… (I don't have the SIM # bc my access expired, I just have a print out). Can you please clarify if I have the story right?

    Lark contributes property worth 60,000 (basis 50,000) and receives 10,000 cash. So for Lark's REALIZED and RECOGNIZED gain:

    Realized = 60,000 FMV- 50,000 Basis =10,000
    Recognized = 10,000 bc it's the cash he received but it should be lower of boot or realized gain correct?

    @dtatham10 – I am in the review stage. At this point I have re-done all Becker chapters 1-4 a second time around, today I am starting with the second go at Blaw. Also re-wiritng important notes and formulas. However, I am a bit scared about the SIMS, I had a bad experience in AUD and I have the feeling REG SIMS are no different. Do you have any input on how to work those?

    When is your REG?
