    yes that makes sense. I didn't even pay attention to the dates. I think my brain is shutting down. I studied a lot at work today.

    Can you explain how the collateral part fits into this since the other two specifically state “file” and “perfect”?

    I think because Possession of the collateral also results in perfection, so all are perfected in different ways. Therefore you consider dates.

    As my review program emphasized a lot – possession equals 9/10 of the law!

    I wish I had someone to do flashcards with. I have all the Becker flashcards (hundreds of them), but it just doesn't stick as well when I quiz myself because I am too quick to flip the card over.

    I have becker flashcards too .i regret buying it… never used it much… Since u remind me, i ll try if i can start using for Reg now, tell my husband to help with it.

    Mamabear: Basis is one of those things you have to just bang your head up against the wall and keep doing it until you get it. The awesome part is that once you do you can fly through a basis problem in ten seconds…found myself begging for them on exam day. Questions…read…repeat. It will click…

    Mama PS: I am in final push for AUD but after my exam next week Ill dig through my REG notes and see if I can find anything good on basis. Sometimes just a different spin on the material helps…

    Thanks How many. I thought I understood basis for my first test, but I fumbled on each question when I actually saw them on the exam. I was so unsure of myself and I did do poorly on them according to my score report. Good luck on AUD! You're going to be done soon!
