Does anyone know how heavily the miscellaneous stuff in R8 of the 2014 Becker REG book is tested? It all seems like you might get one or two questions max on this section…

    BEC - 86
    AUD - 93
    FAR - 76
    REG - 65, 70, 1/9/15

I'm less than 2 days away and took the Becker practice test. My results were 91 on testlet 1, 91 on testlet 2, 54 on testlet 3 (haha) and probably around 75% of the simulation. Granted I started getting lazy on some of the simulations and skipped them because I was getting sick of it. And on the other other Becker practice exam I got in the 60s across the board. Not sure if I should be encouraged or discouraged or unsure. Anyone have any advice what my last day of cramming including tomorrow should consist of?

    AUD: PASS
    FAR: PASS
    BEC: PASS
    REG: PASS

@Ronster I would just continue doing short MCQ sessions, starting from your weakest areas based on the results of your practice test (not sure if tells you). Do 10-15 questions only so you can move fast from topic to topic. Alternatively, you can just do random 20 MCQ's including all topics. Up to you, but definitely continue doing questions! Good luck!

    BEC: 73, 81
    AUD: 85
    FAR: 71, 77
    REG: 74, 75...finally DONE! 😀

*This is my 2nd attempt at the CPA exam. For all of you who have failed this exam many times, given up on it, or taken a break like me, remember that it is still possible to finish what you started...failure is the opportunity to begin again more intelligently 🙂

    @cpastudent

I remember working this question and stumbling on it too. It is 65 bc the first sentence states u r accrual basis. Recall that it is permissible to b an accrual or cash basis taxpayer.

Amay, what testing date are you looking at?

I just put my $30-check in an envelope for my BEC examination fee for mailing to the State Board today.

I should also sit for BEC this testing window one way or another.

My AUD credit expires in 2/28/15.

@Amor where on earth are you from that you only pay $30 for an exam?? Jersey fees are on average in the 200s

    FAR: PASS
    BEC: PASS
    REG: PASS

    LOL

Here in KY, the State Board requires us the pay the “reexamination application” fee per section which can only be paid by mailing the check. Then SB sends the payment coupon notice advising the candidates to pay NASBA to receive NTS.

Is that $172.51 not a NTS fee? It's separate from a re-examination fee per section.

Ugh. Skimmed through R2 today to review it. Holy crap, I forgot how much of a beast that chapter was. I honestly don't know what to do to handle it. I feel like all the other chapters are manageable, except for that one. There's just so many little tiny details.

Argh … back at it. Countdown to Monday continues. Going to try and get some MCQ in during my lunch hour, too.
