    Hello Everyone,

This is my first time taking REG, I have had some trouble with other exams and trying to be much more precise as I approach my exam. I am using becker mostly for the textbook and lecture and supplementing with Ninja. I was wondering if there were any specific Phase out limits, if not all that I should memorize. I plan on being familiar with most of them but I am not sure if they will give us the phase out or expect us to memorize all of them.

    Thanks and Good Luck!

Study goal for the week = continue to plow through C-corps / S-corps / partnerships and do 50 MCQ a day at a minimum. I sit Sept. 7!

Study tips needed! I scheduled my exam for September 7th! I am using Wiley and will be complete with the syllabus material by next week. I hear a lot about not studying too long and that it is best to cram. I have been studying for 3 months now and I don’t feel confident that I am ready to sit for the exam even though I am familiar with the material. Any study suggestions on the best strategy for this coming month? I was thinking about taking a sample test once a week.

Hope study is going well with the fellow Ninja's, today is another beautiful day to study outside. No excuses! Study had been going better than expected. My goal today and the rest of next week is to tackle Taxable entities (Corporate, Partnership, etc) and get to Ethics.
I probably won't get to Businesss Law for another week. Well, make this a good study day πŸ™‚

Study goal: I really want to complete 4 modules of Becker this weekend and review those modules during the week. This is my first attempt at REG and I am hoping to take it either September or October. I am really busy during the week, so my goal is to cover as much material as I can over the weekends and do 50 mcqs every day Mon-Thurs.

@CLW713 – I think it truly depends on the person whether a quicker study session or a more spread out one works. For me, I found the more I condensed my studying and kept it constant (ie: every day!) the better I did. But that was through trial and error.

The best suggestion I can make to you is that it's normal to not feel like you are ready or remembering everything, so I would suggest studying MCQs every day from all subject areas. The repetition will be helpful to make sure all topics remain front of mind. I don't see a problem with taking a practice test, but you will be able to see after one if they are helpful. MCQs MCQs and some SIMS. Good luck!

Oh my goodness, Corporate tax is driving me nuts. I am going to have to memorize basis because I can't do the problems without the formula. I thought I would be done with corporate over the weekend. Not so, I have to be ready by 9/10 (the only seats available πŸ™ )

Did anyone just simply use the Becker lectures in Reg as an audio? I don't want to spend too much time watching, but the explanations of the formulas is what I want.
