LOL Bear Bear I can't believe you just wrote that out. We have some dense stuff in our brains right now. I actually have some mnumonics memorized for the AGI adjustments and deductions and then all the AMT stuff but you don't need to change any of your thinking right now so I won't put them here.

What is that I'm thinking of where theres a joint exemption of 10k or 7500 for single (I believe) and you take 25% of this limit.. ugh I dont even know what the heck I'm talking right now.

That is my WORST nightmare. an AMT sim. Dear God no.

@just3 Not trying to scare you or anything.

I started work when i passed two sections. First few weeks were horrible for me because steep learning curve. First time I saw 1120 was on my 2nd day of work. I still have moments where I have no clue what I am doing. But now I am more efficient how to use my time. Even a bathroom break is like time to do a question or brush up on concept.

Love to hear other people experiences.

I am definitely not expecting the next few months to be fun at all. I'm in Audit and I did an internship last summer so I know a *little* bit. We have two weeks of training so that will be nice. My firm is super cool with studying whenever we have downtime or at lunch. We can study at our desks or go to the quiet rooms.

However, yes. It is going to SUCK.

Csvirk, I assume u meant Aud? And yea I agree its the easiest to study for. Its actually my retake I took it the first time and just didnt get too lucky with the SIMS LOL. I had most financial concept based SIMS and thats my weakest area so hopefully Ill get more audit related this time around. 🙂
