    @CharleneR I make myself do a 10 or 20 question review quiz every day on past material– I am also writing literally everything down…multiple times if I have to. At least for me the more I write it all out the better it sticks in the brain.

    and they ask me why I drink...

    FAR- 61-next time I'll ask for lube instead of a calculator
    REG-75- Never been so happy to see such a low grade

    @tncincy: yes and no. I believe the questions just automatically update, but i could be wrong.

    @all:

    In regards to AMT, what is the difference between 1) tax preference items and 2) adjustments

    preferences get added and adjustments get subtracted from regular taxable income?

    FARWARS, i have seen the latest Star Wars since we last spoke on the forum.

    I found this website to be very helpful with AMT. https://www.amtadvisor.com/m.topicpage.html

    AUD 10/30/15 93
    BEC 2/27/16 82

    @Farwars

    AMT adjustments can either be added or subtracted. Preferences are always added.

    @Everyone

    What happens if a trust specifies that $5000 must be distributed to a beneficiary every year but your DNI falls short? Say your DNI is $2,000. Would you only distribute up to the $2000 or would you pull from corpus?

    Hi all!

    Tonight starts the REG journey. Took BEC the day before yesterday and allowed myself one whole day of no studying. Such luxury!

    Hey!

    I was wondering do we need to know the most current tax rules? Some of the questions on NINJA states that bonus depreciation was not renewed for 2015, but I believe it was renewed. I am pretty sure there will be other differences. My test is in couple days… and I am freaking out that I am going to fail because I don't know the up to date rules.

    Thank you!

    Save Bandit. It would depend on the type of trust, but yes if the trust isn't distributing DNI…then it is distributing corpus.

    A - 79 expires 4/30/16 need a pass on REG
    B - 78
    F - 80
    R - 83!!! Can live again!
