Under section 10B and rule 10b-5 suit, I thought you could recover punitive damages because that section dealt with fraud

@cpa according to wiley: The SEC can bring civil charges alleging violations of Sec. 10(b) and injured investors can also bring civil suits for damages.

It was a question in ninja but I passed it now. It's hard to type questions out from your cell phone 🙂 I think I just misread the answer options.

I scored a 75 on practice test one and 85 on practice test 2. Didn't get anything below 85 on any of the homework. That averaged mostly in the high 90s. The actual REG exam just destroyed me.

Taking the test tomorrow and getting very nervous. I'm feeling like it's impossible to know all this information!

@ want2pass it is impossible to memorize the book. I feel that a lot of the questions I received were a level of difficulty above Becker's materials but with less wording. Just go in and get it done. If you have to repeat then that's life – just do what you can do.

Can someone please explain outside basis of a partnership and how it affects the basis of the current partnership?

How important are knowing all the schedules do you think?

Hey my REG peeps. So I have been trending at 82% in my NINJA MCQs (practiced over 1600 problems). I decided to take a practice exam with Becker's material just to switch it up and make sure I would see problems I didn't remember, and it was actually pretty dang hard!! I averaged about a 60% on MCQs, but did pretty well on the simulations. Has anyone done this before and had a similar outcome? I was feeling really good with NINJA but Becker humbled me. Gah…
