Do any of you mind explaining these recently released questions? I see them on the Becker side bar, but I wasn't sure if they mean that these are new questions the AICPA has added to their test bank, or if they are no longer in the test bank.. I think I read somewhere that they are retired. Anyone know the answer? Might be a dumb question…
My understanding is that when the AICPA releases test bank questions, it's because they are removing them from the exam. They release them as a courtesy to help testers study and to familiarize themselves with the types of questions being asked on the exam.
Angel is right. Though, there have been many instances where I have seen released questions, or a variation, on the actual exam. So, it is a good idea to at least familiarize yourself with them.

So I am 45 pages into R1 and I feel like Becker is all over the place and I can't find any kind of logical connection or flow for the information. I printed the chapter outline from Becker and that is no better. Is it normal to feel this way? Honestly I thought nothing could be worse than FAR but now I am not so sure…
That might be a tax thing! They try to correlate the information as much as possible, but it really is just a dump of rules you have to know. Good news is, they tell you what is important throughout the lectures as well as through the types of homework questions they ask. You will get through it!
@erika, for REG its better to be participative on these boards, this exam is a beast! and August is a while away, you could potentially move it up a month and then take AUD at the end of August or something
@jstay, I thought about that but I work full time and am married with two small children. I had initially planned to take all four parts of the exam this year but now I am shooting for three parts this year and then the last (hopefully) part in early 2016.
@erika do what you feel is best for your current situation. Full time job kids and a spouse is difficult enough without adding in the stress of the exam. You scored well on FAR so I would use the same method you did for that.
just got a 66% on that test, i dont know how i feel. i would have like to seen it without me having to rush through an redo it all. Some of the sims made no sense either…ughhh
