Hi everyone, I've been reading through the forum for the past year or so – this is my 3rd attempt at REG first with a 68 then a 73. I've used Yaeger and supplemented with Ninja Notes and Wiley Test Bank. I'm hoping to get some advice as far as studying the retake. I don't think I'm getting a lot out of the Wiley Test bank anymore, since I've done most if not all of the questions multiple times. Does anyone have any advice on what other materials would be helpful to use? Has anyone used Becker Final review?

I haven't used Becker but instead I am using Gleim to add to the Wiley test bank. I find it is pretty good.

When i did REG i did not finish all the questions in Gleim or Wiley. So this time making it my mission to do all the questions and lock down the material in my head before I sit the exam on Oct 1st.

Also making my own notes and re-reading the Gleim text book. I am not sure if i have time to re-watch all my video lectures so I will focus on the ones i am very weak in. Areas i am strong in will stick to doing questions over and over again and making short notes.

    FAR 05/27/14; 786/110 - Done !

Thanks insiyah24! I didn't do all of the questions in Gleim that's a good point – I mostly stuck to the test bank for this section. I had the hardest time with SIMS the first time around so I tried to focus on that for the second attempt. I did the REG Cram so cut down on the amount of time I was spending watching videos, but I felt it was helpful.

@insiyah..This is my first attempt at REG. I just started studying last week and finished Individual taxes today. But my brain is a mush now and don't remember a single thing. I am using Wiley text book with Lectures CD. I didn't understand the flow that you wrote above for individual taxes. It will be great if you can write it down properly as you said so we can download it. Any other hints which helped you will be really appreciated.

    REG 81
    BEC 74,65,78
    FAR 79
    AUD 85 DONE!!!

Ok I will do that today night πŸ™‚

I totally understand it is a lot to take in. So I will do my best on doing the little flow chart.

Hi, can anyone advise if the 10% floor for medical expenses (2012 = 7.5%) is testable in the next window? Thanks!
