Just got REG results. 66 :(! I passed BEC with 84 a few months ago, and I greatly underestimated the difficulty of the sims on the REG exam. Any advice on how I can prepare for the sims? I previously studied using the Wiley book. I just purchased the 10 point combo hoping to get 9-10 extra points using it.

Hello Folks,

I am back again for REG after a crushing 61. I was strong in Ethics and Individual taxes but weak on the rest. Time to get mad / focus and just working hard for this exam.

I plan to take this again Oct 1st.. Who is with me ??

@ Insiyah…sorry for ur reg score…but i love ur spirit…I am with u …planning to give in 2nd week of oct….this is my first round on chapters so not able to get a hang of it still…not able to figure out what is important…all material is new to me…

Anyways…all the best…let us get this one down in oct. by god's grace…

don't know if i will be of any help but sure will require a lot of knowledge from u lol ….i am good spirit booster though…so u will never be left alone when depressed…

On another note, I am currently doing Wiley Test Bank questions and every time the Medical Expense threshold for Schedule A comes up its in excess of 7.5% when i KNOW it's been changed to 10% for 2013. What it up with that? Any1 else having this issue?

Should I memorize the specific numbers for the standard deductions (i.e. $5950 for single, $11,900 for married) and the additional deduction amounts for blind/elderly people or just know the concept?
