KenadaMemberTait45 – Don't panic. If you are getting 80% Wiley that is a good sign you are ready for the exam. Gleim is harder if you are doing 70% there is not bad.
I am using both. I noticed i do well in Wiley compared to Gleim. I passed the exam with BEC and AUD, I expect once i am doing 80 ish in Wiley and 70 ish in Gleim that I am better prepare to face REG.
Keep practicing you are doing good! and do not get disheartened with Gleim – learn why you are getting them wrong and build up your strength
When do you plan to get REG in OCT ?

Tati45MemberThank you for your input insiyah, that's very helpful. I was happy yesterday because I was doing well in Wiley when I was reviewing Partnerships but then today, I used GLEIM for the same topic and my scores were lower. Its frustrating. I plan to take REG on Oct 4th. I already reviewed the material once and now I am going over the material one more time and focusing on weak areas. Last time I got a 71!!! When are you taking REG? Also, how do you study for simulations? The sims on my last exam were brutal.
I really hope this time I will pass.
AUD - PASSED
REG - PASSEDMy great concern is not whether you have failed, but whether you are content with your failure.

KenadaMemberI plan to resit on the 4th or the 7th. Waiting for CBA to process my request etc. Plus I hope to get “space” to sit the exam with pro metrics as they get booked up really fast in my area.
Last time I got 61 and I was not totally surprised. I tried to cram REG in 4 weeks whilst working full time… BAD idea.
LOL. I didn't get to do good review nor practice all the questions from Wiley, Gleim and Wiley homework book.
The SIM's were bad. But I see a lot of people said you must been comfortable in the topic' in REG and then the SIM are doable. People mentioned SIM's are really based on the Tax side more than B/Law. So i figured i will get my Tax knowledge locked down well. Then in B/Law i want to be comfortable enough to know the foundation etc to get me through those questions.
For the SIM's I am using Gleim as well. I think its helpful for me since i have a SIM phobia π I get to practice and get a feel of what can be asked etc.
All I can say is keep practicing, make your own notes ( time consuming but helps alot) Keep practicing with Gleim. In my opinion i would rather be over prepared and know I can pass the exam than under prepared and miss it just by a few marks.
Also you had a 71 you are much closer than i am to getting to a 75. You can do. Just focus and keep practicing until you are blue from doing REG questions π

SkrierMember@Tati45…In my opinion, I think the key to the SIM's is fully understanding to concepts. If you understand the concepts it really won't matter what the format is….meaning multiple choice or SIM's. I think the SIM's just provide more detail, it could be a full form that needs to be completed or they could provide an income statement and want to know taxable income anything like that. You should be able to handle it if you understand the underlying concept of what they are asking. Not sure there is a really good way to prepare for the SIM's except for working the samples in the review software. Does this make sense?

SkrierMember@insiyah24… I know what you mean, the football game is the only think I allow myself to watch since this is pretty much the only time I get to spend with my husband. He's not very good company when I am reading IRS tax code or trying to understand corporate taxes, he finds it rather boring π
