I would go with 10% since thats the current rate.

6 DAYS TO REG and I feel soooooo not ready. Thinking about just focusing on Corp and Ind Tax and hoping I only get minimal stuff on law, etc…Is anyone taking the test in the next few days putting any energy into Law???

^ Im not taking it until Dec 6th. But I read online a few tips on where to focus. Emphasize more on someone of the hardest tax problems. esp. with corporations. They basically won't test you much on what you already been tested on in college courses, which is mainly individual taxation.

Do well, and let us know how it goes!

Does anyone know if the AMTI adjustment for medical is affected since the change for mediical deduction went from 7.5 to 10 %? Did the AMTI med adjustment change too?

    Mehwish,

If you get a problem that says, “for tax year 2013″, you won't have any AMT adjustment because the rules will be the same for regular and AMT purposes. If you have one that says ” for tax years 2012″ you will have the adjustment because regular only allows above 7.5% while AMT only allows above 10%

    FAR - 84
    AUD - 94
    REG - 86
    BEC - 86

I wouldnt worry too much about that. The updates are minimal. I think the main ones are medical deduction and section 179. You can look at the updates the day before your exam and just know what the major ones are. Bigger fish to fry!
