I was Weak in the SIM's and Comparable in the MCQ's( mixture of weak, strong and comparable)
In the MCq's I was weak in BLaw, Strong in Individual tax, Ethics and comparable on the rest. The SIM's i got were all fill in the blanks so for example and this is something I am making up using a Gleim SIM example.
You get a SIM and its on lets say Partnerships. They will give you a bunch of item and ask you to calculate what the adjusted bases is after a distribution or a new assumed liability blah blah.
So you would have to do the math and insert the value of the bases. Imagine getting 7 SIMs like that but on different topics like on Individuals or Corps or Estates or Partnerships. That for me is my worst nightmare as I would be panicking and not reading and I could have missed something they said and got my calculation wrong etc.
So I think that is what happened to me. I missed things since I was rushing and panicking LOL. My advice, lock down the MCQs and get really good at them. In the exam try to have at least 1 hour and 20 mins just for the SIM's.
