My exam is tomorrow!!! Here are my stats for Ninja MCQ. Can you guys tell me if you think everything looks okay or what I should target last minute?

I have 321 questions not answered correctly but those consist mainly of BLaw (including 149 never seen BLaw questions). All other sections I have seen all the questions.

I used Ninja to learn a lot of the topics so I think that's why my average on some sections is lower. I've worked 2,477 questions and have only completed a conservative 60 today (10 per category). I am trying to do 180 today but I wonder if my time would be better spent rewriting my ‘study guide' that I go over in the car before I walk into Prometric? Are doing questions today a waste of time?

No, I've never done the practice exam that the AICPA provides.

Oh. I've heard the sims are a very good representation.

To be honest, I've done one practice SIM in Ninja MCQ. I loathe SIMS, but I'm sure that's nothing special. I feel like I have a pretty good grasp of the knowledge tested on REG, so I'm hoping I can transfer my knowledge into whatever sims they ask of me. However, when I take BEC, I need to keep that practice exam in mind!

By exam, do you mean the 5 MCQs and 5 SIMS?

The new AICPA released questions on Becker helped me out. Printed them out. Missed a couple of questions for things I did not know yet.

@summer I think you should target taxation of entities last minute! It's a big chunk of the grade!

also for those using other materials, do your update materials cover UCC sales code? becker skips it but I see it on ninja notes?

I do not understand how to navigate the research questions. I have been getting every single one wrong. Tips? Tricks?

@summer good luck today! I don't know what time your test is, but if you have time I'd recommend looking at the AICPA sample exam. It is only 10 questions so it doesn't take long, and getting familiar with the sim format would be really helpful!

@gguzman – Do you use the “Advanced Search” and try keywords? There are certain keywords to use in the different search options available in the “Advanced Search” section and those keywords may not be used in the question. When the search returns multiple results try to narrow it down with more keywords. Read through the IRC and if it isn't explicitly applicable to the question, it's not the right one. In my experience, I've only gotten them wrong when I get lazy and think, “Well I guess that could be it.”

for research, the key is to narrow in on the topic and use the “search within” function, to narrow down your results. Also, I would suggest familiarizing yourself with the federal taxation guidance and how it is laid out.

@anyatver – great advice! I'll have to try this out on the next SIM and see if it saves any time!
