    I'm a little behind in starting my studies (still recovering from long weekend), but I just created by detailed study schedule and ready to start full throttle tomorrow! Scheduling for 7/14!

    Ordering Ninja MCQ tomorrow. I am taking REG the third Saturday in July. Just started a new job with short hours and shorter commute so it is time to take down the exam. Looking forward to studying with everyone here. I thought a good technique I saw in the FAR study group was to fire out questions on a daily basis and let everyone has it out. Good break from the books. Good Luck to all. We will do this. One test at a time.

    @chefcpa–I truly believe the quizzing in the FAR study group thread contributed a great deal to my Q2 FAR pass. I hope we get it going here in the middle of June. I want to get through the material first. I've compiled notes on Individual, Partnership, and Corporate Tax. I'm going to finish compiling all my notes and then it is on like Donkey Kong. Hahaha

    Started reading the Wiley textbook and got through the 3 of the tax modules, but it is soo boring. Definitely gonna stop doing that and just dive into the Ninja MC. Hope to get out of the first phase in a couple weeks. I'll definitely contribute to posting any puzzling questions once I'm done with this phase.

    AUD - 75 ☺
    FAR - 65, 71, 70, 77 ☺
    BEC - 80 ☺
    REG - 73, 66, 79 ☺ 2/28/15

    I'm with you Dan. I simply cannot read a book of this stuff. It is not quite as boring as AUD, but still not anything I want to read.

    I feel like I'm the only person in this whole forum who actually doesn't mind watching lectures…I hope that doesn't mean I'm setting myself up for failure!

    I can't survive without the lectures. My Reg is tomorrow and I am just watching the Yaeger lectures for review. Reading the book takes too much time. 🙂

    @halfhoot

    I'm using CPAexcel and am watching the lectures for ethics and business law. But I am using the study text for tax topics cause the videos for those are so long.

    I have to watch the lectures… I'm using Becker. I start the in-class sessions next week. Hopefully I will have time to watch all the online lectures and go to the class. I am ready to be done! I haven't done both before but I am hoping this will help me out and reinforce all the concepts. Hopefully REG will be my last exam!!! I scheduled it for July 3. I passed FAR and AUD earlier this year and I will hear back on June 9th about BEC.

    AUD - 39, 69, 82! (Feb 2014)
    FAR - 52, 73, 70, 72, 81! (Apr 2014)
    BEC - 81! (May 2014)
    REG - 70, October 3rd... waiting

    Was looking for a mnemonic for above the line deductions and stumbled on this thread that I thought I should share.

    Some of these are really creative. Thanks community.
