    Elias, my man, you are on your game.

    Also, Elias, how long are your comprehensive reviews? 30 questions?

    Yea or 20 if i'm just going over 2 chapters. I like to keep it short because its hard to go without seeing the answers. But when it gets closer to go time i like to do longer reviews. I always do a couple 100 reviews just to get you to focus for that long in preparing for the exam, i guess you could say it tests your mental toughness which is a much needed attribute.

    So 10 questions per chapter or so and then sprinkle in flash cards?

    I've completed everything but the second practice exam.

    or do 72 since that's the amount on the real exam, do them in the review for test thing on becker. It'll place them in different order.

    @CPAMommyof3 I am in the same boat as you. I really stink at tax and I've tried to cram it in way too soon.. I got my NTS for audit and reg and had my schedule perfectly planned.Then made a 71 on audit (thought I had passed) so I decided to sit again ASAP. Passed audit with an 81 but only left me 7 weeks to study- and I have been so busy at work! I am finishing the last blaw chapter and praying for an easy test. The tax portion is killing me! It's either attempt reg or lose my money, so ready or not I am taking it Thursday!

    68/72 on my last comprehensive MCQ binge, Elias. Still just need to find motivation to sit down and memorize the little details for the exam.

    Mamma, I tried registering an account at FreeCPA Review to no avail. Never got my email to authorize account. I created two accounts, and the email didn't send to either of them.

    Becker it is.

    @kpmartin–Good luck!!

    @nick
    –That stinks. Sorry about that. It seems like you are doing really well with Becker though. Have you worked any SIMS?

    Worked all sims once for homework. I'm going to go through Sims for R.1-R.4 tomorrow most likely. I'm lying in bed at this point. Attacking SIMs in bed isn't possible.

    Momma, keep pushing til 12!

    Yea you got a good grasp of the MCQ it sounds like, not to scare you but i got a 94/100 on a AUD MCQ test and was pretty close to failing the actual exam. Just study as much as you can as it is all worth it once you get that passing score.

    I've got 4 days- is the last part of blaw worth focusing on or trying to go over the taxation material again? I feel like I am drowning in AMT

    Kp, drown in AMT. PANIC TIMME.

    Elias, oh, I know. My practice test today wasn't fun. I'm full steam ahead until Wednesday's test date.

    The MCQ are becoming ungodly repetitive, even when I talk through the solution in my head prior to answering, and so I'll move to the SIMs tomorrow, go through first test and then review flash cards until I have the balls to take the second one.

    @Mama Just posted this on another thread related to Gift Basis:

    There are different rules depending on whether FMV is higher or lower than the donor's basis. If you have Becker, look at pg. R4-11. If the FMV is HIGHER than the Donor's basis, then you automatically use the donor's basis to determine the gain.

    However, if the FMV is LOWER than the Donor's basis, then it depends on the selling price:

    If SP > Donor's basis, use Donor's basis to determine gain.

    If SP < FMV, use FMV to determine loss.

    If SP is in between Donor's basis and FMV, then no gain or loss.

    BEC: 73, 81
    AUD: 85
    FAR: 71, 77
    REG: 74, 75...finally DONE! 😀

    *This is my 2nd attempt at the CPA exam. For all of you who have failed this exam many times, given up on it, or taken a break like me, remember that it is still possible to finish what you started...failure is the opportunity to begin again more intelligently 🙂

    What was your weighted test score? (MCQ percent x 60) + (SIMS percent x 40)
